Four members of the Aberystwyth RNLI lifeboat crew took part in the recording of a cookery program on Friday 2 April 2010, with S4C celebrity TV chef Dudley Newbury.
Volunteer RNLI helmsman Carwyn Williams, tractor driver Rhodri Lewis, and crew members Gemma Bell and Rick Errington took part in the filming for the TV programme O’r giat I’r plat, which is due to be shown in June.
Dudley demonstrated cooking his recipe for mackerel with an orange and red pepper salad, and then the four had to try and replicate the dish.
