Police in the Rhos area of Wrexham are urging motorists to heed security advice following a spate of arson attacks on vehicles.
The warning comes after a number of unlinked attacks in recent weeks in the early hours of the morning which have prompted concerns that someone could be seriously hurt as a result of this kind of criminal vandalism.
PC Ann Batstone and PCSO Sofia Iftikar are urging local motorists to be vigilant and follow some basic advice;
- park in well lit areas or on a drive way if you have one
- make sure any security lighting or cameras on your property are in working order
- secure and alarm your vehicle
- encourage neighbours, friends and family to be vigilant
