AM Hears of Safety Concerns at Parkwall Hill

Nick_RamsayMonmouth Assembly Member Nick Ramsay has written to the Minister for Economy, Science and Transport, Edwina Hart, AM, asking if any safety improvements are likely to be carried out in the foreseeable future on the A48 at Parkwall Hill, Chepstow.

Mr Ramsay wrote to the Minister after being contacted by a constituent who suggested street lighting and pavement provision on the A48 Chepstow to Newport Road at Parkwall Hill would make this stretch of road safer when it is used as an alternative route when the M4/M48 is closed due to an accident or other incident.

Speaking on Wednesday, Mr Ramsay said: “I appreciate my constituent’s concerns and am looking forward to the Minister’s response.”
