Amazing Spring Art Lectures

A series of fascinating lectures on art will be delivered this spring at National Museum Cardiff. Acclaimed experts will be giving evening lectures at the Reardon Smith Lecture Theatre held in partnership with national fundraising charity, the Art Fund, and an interesting series of free lunchtime talks will be given by staff members, artist and guests.

On Wednesday, 25 April, 6.30pm join Arts Director of Arts Council Wales, David Alston in conversation with the artists Merlin James, Laura Ford and Tim Davies on Representing Wales at the Venice Biennale. Ticket Price £5 / cons £4.

Art historian Professor Frances Spalding, CBE talks about John Piper: an artist in time and in history on Wednesday 9 May at 6.30pm. Ticket price £5 / cons. £4

The influence of Josiah Wedgwood will be delivered by Gaye Blake Roberts, Director of the Wedgwood Museum on Wednesday 23 November at 6.30pm Ticket price £5 / cons. £4

Entry to all Amgueddfa Cymru museums is free, thanks to the support of the Welsh Assembly Government.
