A local bus service in Barry was temporarily suspended from running last week due to a vehicle window being smashed on route as a result of anti-social behaviour.

Due to the incident, which took place in the Gibbonsdown area of Barry, the evening Supported Local Bus Service 95 (Llantwit MajorCardiff via Barry) operated by EST Bus Ltd was temporarily suspended from running via Gibbonsdown (St Bride’s Way and Pencoedre Road) between Wednesday 5 and Monday 10 January.

The Cardiff Bus daytime Service 95 was unaffected and continued to run its normal route.

The incident took place on the evening of Wednesday 5 January and was reported to the police, incident reference 62110005103. If anyone has any information that can help identify the culprits they are urged to contact Barry Police Station.
