Police are appealing for information after a 21 year old man was assaulted on the wooden footbridge near to Morrisons supermarket at Saltney.
Detective Constable Victoria Matthias, based at Mold CID, said the victim was walking along the footbridge when he was assaulted by a group of young men at about 5.05pm on Friday December 31.
She said that the group were described as being between 18 – 22years and one of them was wearing dark clothing with the hood up.
“We are anxious to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen anything suspicious or noticed the group.”
