South Wales Police officers in Bridgend CID are appealing for witnesses following an assault outside The Station Café, Caerau Road, Maesteg at around 11.45pm on Monday 8th December 2009.
Detective Sergeant Paul Mason of Bridgend CID said,
“We are investigating an incident where two males were assaulted outside The Station Café and both sustained serious facial injuries and received hospital treatment at Princess of Wales.
“Two males aged 24 and 21 from the Maesteg area are currently in custody being questioned by detectives. Another male is outstanding and is actively being sought by officers. I’m appealing to anyone who witnessed the assault, or has information that may assist us, to contact us at Bridgend CID.”
