Police in Pwllheli are appealing for information and witnesses following two fires at properties in the Chwilog area.
At around 11.06pm last night (Thursday, January 6) the North Wales Fire and Rescue Service informed police of a fire at house in Chwilog. No one was in the house at the time.
House to house inquiries are continuing today however the fire is being treated as deliberate.
Serious damage was caused to another property in Chwilog as a result of a fire on December 25.
Police were informed of the fire at a secluded house at 9.06pm by the North Wales Fire and Rescue Service. The property was unoccupied and the fire is being treated as suspicious.
Police are currently keeping an open mind as to whether the incidents are linked and are calling on the help of the public.
