Appeal for help to find plant machinery

Police are appealing for witnesses after a yellow13 Tonne Komatsu with a Balfour Beatty and Jones Bros logo on rear of the vehicle was stolen from a works site on an unclassified road between Minffordd and Penrhyndeudraeth, at around 8pm on Saturday the 6th of August 2010.

They believe that the vehicle was taken from the scene on a white artic towing a red low loader which may have been parked in the Pothmadog area earlier on that day.

This incident follows a theft of a ‘W’ registered white Scania 124 low loader from a farm in the Harlech area on Saturday the 31st of July 2010.

Police are trying to establish whether the two thefts are connected and are appealing for witness who may have any information to come forward.
