Gwent Police is appealing for information an an incident that occurred at Bedwas Sporting Community Club on Bedwas Road sometime between the 10th and 11th October.
Petrol was poured around the outside of the building and the decking area. The decking area was subsequently burnt – there was no damage to the rest of the building and no-one was present when it happened.
It happened sometime between 2.30pm on 10th October and 1.45pm on 11th October.
