Police in Abergavenny are appealing for information following an attempted sexual assault which occurred in a lane at the rear of St Andrews Crescent, Abergavenny.
The incident occurred at about 4.20pm on Monday (June 2nd) as a 15 year old girl was walking along the access lane. She was grabbed by the hair by a man who then attempted to touch her sexually. The victim ran off towards St David’s Road.
The offender is described as 19-21 years old, six feet tall and skinny build.
They are appealing to a member of the public who walked through the lane with a dog and may have seen what happened to come forward as well as anyone else who may have information to contact us on 101 quoting log number 298 4/6/14
