Police are appealing for information to help recover a collection of martime- themed brass ornaments stolen from a garden in Holywell.
The ornaments are all ship fixtures and fittings and were taken from an address in the Greenfield Road area of the town overnight between Sunday September 26 and Monday September 27.
The stolen items include; a ship’s telegraph, a binnacle with compass, a
ship’s walker log, a bilge pump, a ship’s light starboard, a ship’s two sleeved wooden block, a submarine safety lamp, a brass fishing float, an 8″ gimbal ship’s candle lamp, a 12″ bronze cleat, a 14″ four sided ship’s lamp, two iron bellying pins and a wooden bottle with brass rings.
Anyone with information about the theft or who may have been offered any of the items stolen, is asked to call PC2410 Kevin Smith at Holywell police station on 101.
