Appeal to Help Identify Cyclist Injured in Penarth

South Wales PoliceAt 17:37 hours today, Wednesday 16th July 2014, a male pedal cyclist was thrown from his bike at St Augustines Crescent at its junction with St Augustines Road, Penarth and is currently at the University Hospital Wales receiving treatment.

As yet Police have not been able to identify the man and are asking for the public’s help.

The he is described as white, approximately 25 to 30 years of age, 6’ tall, slim build, short brown curly hair, unshaven including a short moustache and has a sizeable ‘scab’ on his left elbow which appears fairly recent.

He is wearing a ‘MUDDY FOX’ cycling top with the letters ‘MFX’ on the bottom, black in colour with grey and red on the sides, ‘NIKE’ running shorts navy in colour with white on the sides and ‘NIKE’ running trainers black in colour.

He was wearing a ‘TRAX’ brand cycling helmet grey and black in colour and the bicycle is described as a ‘GLOBE’ brand hybrid pedal cycle old and batterred looking silver in colour.

Any one who witnessed the incident or may know the identity of this cyclist is asked to contact South Wales Police on 101 quoting incident number 669.
