Archbishop Barry at Barry Arts festival

Festival pundits will have the chance to quiz the Archbishop of Wales tomorrow (July 31).

Dr Barry Morgan will take part in a question and answer session at the Barry Arts Festival  and will reflect on the church and its place in today’s society.

He will be speaking at the Little Blue Deli from 5-6pm. Tickets cost £7.50.

As well as leading the Church in Wales for more than a decade, Dr Barry Morgan is currently Pro-Chancellor of the University of Wales, a fellow of Cardiff, UWIC, Bangor, Swansea, Carmarthen and Lampeter and was until recently President of the Welsh Centre for International Affairs. He chaired an inquiry on behalf of Shelter Cymru on homelessness in Wales.

Barry Arts Festival, now in its third year, is a week-long event organised by local volunteers and supported by the Town Council to promote arts in the town. For more information visit http://www.barryartsfestival.org.uk/.
