North Wales Police are investigating an assault at the Oriental Express take away restaurant on Abergele Road in Colwyn Bay, when a man received serious head injuries.
The incident is believed to have happened between 1.45pm and 3.10pm yesterday, Wednesday 9th June, within the premises, and police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have seen or heard a disturbance at the location, to come forward.
The man is currently in a serious but stable condition at Ysbyty Glan Clwyd.
A 46-year -old man from the Colwyn Bay area has been arrested and is currently in custody at St Asaph where he will be interviewed later today.
