North Wales Police are asking the public for their help in tracing two men suspected of an unprovoked attack on a middle aged man.
Around 6pm on Sunday October 24, a 43 year old man was admitted to hospital with facial injuries and fractured ribs.
It is believed that he was assaulted by two men on either Friday or Saturday evening in the vicinity of Flint Castle.
DS Kevin Bowden said: “This was a nasty attack on an innocent man and the motive is not yet clear. Unprovoked assaults of this nature are rare in Flint and the incident is being investigated robustly”
