Bank of England Agent gives corporate finance experts briefing on Welsh economy

Neil Ashbridge, the Bank of England’s Agent for Wales, will give corporate finance experts an update on the current economic outlook for Wales and the UK at an event in Cardiff later this month.

Mr Ashbridge is one of the speakers at a Mergers and Acquisitions in a Slow Economy seminar organised by Brenig Preest, Investment Director at Excalibur Fund Managers Ltd and who is also Chairman of the Cardiff & District Society of Chartered Accountants.

The seminar is targeted at both advisors and ICAEW members in business who may be considering the acquisition or sale of a business that has suffered in the current economy.

Other speakers include Alistair Wardell and Trefor Griffith of Grant Thornton, Paul Pugh of Eversheds  and Peter Wright from Finance Wales who will talk about  “acquisition funding”.

Mergers & Acquisitions in a Slow Economy takes place at Eversheds LLP, 1 Callaghan Square, Cardiff, on Wednesday, January 20th, (9am-noon). There is no charge for ICAEW members and £30 (including VAT) for non-members.
