Bike loan scheme launched at Bryn Gwalia Communities First

Bryn Gwalia Communities First has launched a great new initiative – a bicycle loan scheme.

Any resident of Bryn Gwalia who has a training or employment opportunity can borrow a bicycle for six months to enable them to get to the training placement or place of employment.

The bicycle loan scheme is free, however a small deposit is required once the applicant has been successful.

This scheme is being run by the Communities First Team based in Parkfields Community Centre, Ash Grove, Mold. This project has received funding through the Rural Development Plan for Wales 2007-2013 which is funded by the Welsh Assembly Government and the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development.

For further information, or if you wish to submit an application for the scheme, please contact Mark Neath or Janiene Davies at Communities First on 01352 754861.
