Birdfeeders stolen from church grounds

An appeal for information and witnesses is being made following the theft of six bird feeders from church grounds in Llangystennin.

The bird feeders were being used as part of birdwatching project St Cystennin’s Church were involved in with the local RSPB but they were stolen from trees within the grounds of the church sometime between 10am on Sunday, January 23 and 10am on Sunday, January 30. One of the bird feeders is described as 18″ high circular dome shaped and has clear perspex feeder section with a row of circular feeding holes around the base which has a metal feeding ledge.

Anyone with information regarding the theft should contact PC 694 Evans at Colwyn Bay Police station on 101 (if in Wales 0845 6071001 (Welsh language line) 0845 6071002 (English language line). Alternatively, individuals can also contact Crimestoppers anonymously with information on 0800 555 111.
