Police can confirm that the body of a woman has been found in Caernarfon Bay at 5.28 pm today (Tuesday August 31st).
Formal Identification is not expected to take place this evening and we are not in a position to give any further details at present.
It can also be confirmed that a kayak was found in Nefyn earlier today.
