Branwen’s Starling live at Loggerheads

Following the success of Romeo & Juliet last year, Taking Flight Theatre brings the family promenade performance of Branwen’s Starling to Loggerheads Country Park.

Vanessa Warrington, Countryside Officer, said: “We are really excited that Taking Flight Theatre has asked to come back to the Park this year. Branwen’s Starling is a family story taken from the Mabinogion and it is both accessible and free.”

There will be performances at 11am and 2pm on Saturday 7th May.

“Although the event is free we are taking bookings at Loggerheads as we need to keep the audience to about 75 people per performance to ensure everyone enjoys it.”

Ring 01352 810586 or email [email protected] to book.

Vanessa added: “We are very aware that having an exciting event like this in the Park is going to put pressure on the car park at Loggerheads. This type of theatre is a great opportunity for people to enjoy a family production in the Clwydian Range Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and we ask people to plan ahead; use public transport, get dropped off or walk if possible.”

There are buses from Mold at 10.36am and from Ruthin at 10am that will arrive at Loggerheads for the 11am performance. For the afternoon performance there is a bus at 12.45pm from Ruthin and Mold at 13.36pm. Please check times by visiting www.travelinecymru.info website or calling them on 0871 200 22 33
