Burglary, Whitmuir Road, Tremorfa

South Wales PolicePolice in Cardiff are investigating a burglary of a house on Whitmuir Road in the Tremorfa area of Cardiff which occurred sometime between 1.30pm and 5.10pm on Wednesday 29th January 2014.

Access was gained into the house via a broken window and the culprit stole a quantity of gold jewellery including bracelets, earrings and necklaces.

Detective constable Laura Jones of Cardiff central CID said:

“This incident happened during the afternoon and there would have been some noise made by whoever was responsible when a window was broken.

“We are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time and who may have seen anything suspicious to contact us.  Also we want to hear from anyone who may have been offered the chance to buy any gold jewellery in any unusual circumstances.”
