Call for stunning photographs of the Clwydian Range

The Clwydian Range Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is celebrating its 25th anniversary of being designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty this year and a leaflet highlighting the things that make this area special and unique is being produced to mark this special occasion.

Organisers of the leaflet are keen to ensure that it includes breath-taking photographs of the area.

David Shiel, Clwydian Range Officer, said:  “We are looking for images that really capture the natural beauty of the area and show some of the things that make this such a special landscape.

“We have some wonderful photos but we know that there are some incredibly talented photographers in the area and we are hoping that they will contact us with some cracking contributions”.

Vanessa Warrington, Countryside Officer, said: “We have received funding from the European Rural Development Fund through Cadwyn Clwyd because of the Clwydian Range Sustainable Tourism Strategy for a number of projects to help raise the profile of the Clwydian Range as a protected landscape and sustainable tourism destination.”

Other projects include a new website for the Range www.clwydianrangeaonb.org.uk and “we’re even dabbling in facebook” – search for Clwydian Range AONB.
