Landlords across Rhondda Cynon Taf are being invited to attend important workshops that look at how they can work with their public sector partners in the changing benefits climate.
The workshops are being offered in partnership with all local authorities in Wales, The Welsh Assembly Government and the National Landlords’ Association.
They form part of the ongoing work that takes place across our County Borough to ensure awareness is raised of the changes being made to local housing allowance (housing benefits) system and to ensure landlords have the information they need to offer a high standard of services.
Places are available for the following events:
- Swalec Stadium, Cardiff, from 6pm on February 22
- Liberty Stadium, Swansea, from 6pm on February 24.
- Venue Cymru, Llandudno, from 6pm on March 2.
The events will include presentations from speakers Lee Cecil of the National Landlords’ Association, Karl Thomas, Head of Rent Officers Wales at the Welsh Assembly Government, Helen Armstrong of Can Do Lettings, Richard Brice from Carmarthenshire County Council and Wil Williams of Cefni Lettings.
Representatives from Rhondda Cynon Taf Council, especially those who work with landlords and the benefits section, will also be in attendance and able to offer further information on the local situation.
