Captain James Wilcox RNLI presentation

St Davids RNLI volunteer Lifeboat Operations Manager (LOM) Captain James Wilcox has recently had his service recognised by the RNLI Council.

Captain James Wilcox has dedicated over 10 years of service to St Davids RNLI lifeboat station. He started his service with the RNLI in 1999 as a Deputy Launching Authority (DLA), until he took over the role of Lifeboat Operations Manager from Mr Jeffery Davies in 2008.

The LOM’s duties involve the overseeing of the station operations, as well as the responsibility of authorising the launch of both St Davids all-weather and inshore lifeboat when they receive a call from people in distress.
