Cash up for grabs in coastal photo competition

Amateur photographers are being invited to get snapping for Pembrokeshire Fish Week 2010’s photography competition.

The theme of this year’s competition is ‘Coast’ and the photographer who submits the winning image will scoop £100.

They will also win a day in the studio with professional photographer Ian Richards ABIPP and a canvas of their image, sponsored by Pembrokeshire Photography.

The competition is open to all amateur photographers over the age of 15.

Entries must be supplied digitally, as a .jpg file at 300dpi on CD or emailed. The image size should be approximately A4 (landscape or portrait) and can be in colour or black and white.

The judges are Ian Richards ABIPP of Pembrokeshire Photography, Barbara Simon, Head of Photography at Pembrokeshire College, and David Wilson, of David Wilson Photography.

All entries must have a title, and be accompanied with the entrant’s name and full contact details.

The deadline is Wednesday, June 9.

Pembrokeshire Fish Week is organised by Pembrokeshire County Council. The event is part funded through the Rural Development Plan for Wales 2007-2013, which is financed by the EU and the Assembly Government.
