CBE stolen in Cardiff burglary

Police in Cardiff are appealing for information on a burglary where a CBE medal has been stolen.

The burglary happened in Church Road, Whitchurch, sometime between Thursday, July 14 and Saturday, July 16.

A number of items were stolen including a gold round ring engraved with University of Malmo and a CBE (Commander of the British Empire) Medal.

The medal is attached to a dark pink ribbon which has a blue trim and was in a black case with the letters CBE on the top.

Officers have been carrying out a number of enquiries to identify the burglars and trace the stolen property.
