The Chairman of Denbighshire County Council, Councillor Joan Butterfield, recently held a Charity Ball at the Oriel House Hotel, St Asaph with over 100 guests in attendance.
Following the event, £2,000 was raised for the Chairman’s chosen charity – Cancer Research UK – Breast Cancer.
The Annual Ball is one of several events arranged throughout the year, including the Chairman’s Civic Service and the Denbighshire Carol Service.
Proceeds raised at these events will be presented to Cancer Research UK in May, at the end of the Chairman’s term of office.
