Youngsters from special schools across Rhondda Cynon Taf had a great day out when they took part in a dodgeball competition.
Children aged 11-16 from Ysgol Ty Coch and Hen Felin, as well as from the SEN departments in Bryncelynnog, Ferndale, Treorchy Comprehensives and Coleg Morgannwg took part in the competition at Rhondda Sports Centre, Ystrad.
The winning team was from Ferndale and runners-up were from Ysgol Ty Coch.
Pupils from Bryncelynnog enjoyed wearing fancy dress for the day, which was organised by 5×60 officers from Ty Coch and Hen Felin in conjunction with Rhondda Cynon Taf’s disability sports officer.
5×60 officer Jonny Phillips said: “The aim of the event was for the young people to have fun, interact with their peers and to reward them for their commitment to 5×60 activities.
“It was fantastic to see young people of different ages and abilities participating in the exciting sport of dodegball in a fun environment.”
