Ahoy there, excitement is building as one of the nation’s favourite children’s TV characters heads for the Quadrant Shopping Centre this summer holidays.
Captain Barnacles from the Octonauts will be spending a fun-filled day at the Quadrant on Thursday, July 31 and at intervals between 11am-4pm, the undersea explorer will be on hand for a free meet and greet with his young fans.
Ian Kirkpatrick, Quadrant Shopping Centre Manager, said “We are delighted to be welcoming Captain Barnacles to Swansea and hope that families enjoy taking the opportunity to meet him. I’m sure the excitement is gathering momentum already.
“Our shopping centre is at the heart of Swansea and we know families in our community will be looking for activities to make the most of the summer break.
“Having the chance to see one of their heroes will be a great day out for our young shoppers.”
Captain Barnacles is a brave polar bear extraordinaire and the leader of the Octonauts. He’s always the first to rush in and help whenever there’s a problem.
Meet and Greet appearances will take place at 11am, 12pm, 1.30pm, 2.30pm & 3.30pm.
