Residents in the Upper Amman Valley are being invited to join in the festive celebrations.
A Christmas Fayre is being held in the Gwaun Cae Gurwen Community Hall next Friday (11th December) between 12 noon and 6pm.
The Renewal Area team and Communities First have teamed up to organise their popular annual Christmas Fayre, now in its third year.
Tea, coffee and mince pies are being provided and there will be a huge variety of stalls selling Christmas goods.
On offer will be delicious home made cakes, biscuits, chutneys and jams accompanied with cheese and wines.
Handmade Christmas cards and stocking fillers together with garlands and hand made jewellery will also be on sale.
A highlight of the Fayre will be handmade rocking horses and there will be a display of holistic therapies and crystals. All ideal for the perfect Christmas gift.
Adding to the occasion, local schools will entertain everyone with a Christmas carol concert.
Council Leader, Ali Thomas, said, “I’m pleased to see the Christmas Fayre becoming a popular local annual event.
“Residents can shop in their own communities for those perfect Christmas gifts.
“Congratulations to everyone involved for organising the event.”
