Wonderful Winterfest will kick off the celebrations with activities for all the family, including an ice rink.

From 5.30pm Swansea Sound and The Wave will be joining in to await the amazing Father Christmas Parade.

The Parade starts from Church Street at 6pm making its way to the Arts Centre by 6.30pm where the Mayor of Neath Port Talbot, Pam Thomas, accompanied by Father Christmas, will switch on the town’s Christmas Lights.

Pontardawe Arts Centre will be showing the family movie Cloudy with a chance of meatballs at a special discounted price of £2.50 and the Winterfest fun continues until 10pm.

On Saturday, December 5, Winterfest fun continues from 10am with craft stalls, farmers market, music by local school bands and choirs and a chance to visit Santa in his Grotto in the Pontardawe Arts Centre from 10am until 4pm (admission £2).

This year, letters to Santa can be posted at Pontardawe Arts Centre and Tesco Pontardawe – last posting date is Saturday December 5 – all letters will be responded to but remember your little ones must add their names and addresses clearly.
