Church’s Gift for Centre

Over the holiday period Pennar Community Church in Pembroke Dock raised £600 at its Christmas tree festival and other events.

Traditionally each year’s proceeds are donated to a local charity and this time the beneficiary was the town’s Anchorage Social Activity Centre for adults with learning disabilities.

The centre’s area co-ordinator , Geraldine Phillips, said she was grateful to the Community Church for raising the money and said it would be used to purchase sensory plants and equipment to improve the gardens.
