David Jones MP, the Member of Parliament for Clwyd West, recently visited Ysgol Glan Gele in Abergele to present the school with a Platinum Eco-Schools Award.
Mr Jones took the opportunity to take a tour of the school’s facilities, and also to meet the members of the School Council, taking questions from its members in the process.
David Jones said:
“The Eco-Schools programme is an important and ambitious one, and for a school to be awarded a Platinum Award is an honour indeed. I would like to convey my warmest congratulations to the pupils, staff, and all who have helped Ysgol Glan Gele to win this award”.
