Police in Coedpoeth are appealing for information following an assault on a man in the village last month.
The victim needed hospital treatment for facial injuries and broken ribs after the incident not far from the Red Lion pub in Castle Street, Coedpoeth at around 3am on Sunday October 10.
It is believed two or three young men were responsible for the assault and that a young woman may have witnessed the attack.
