Collision in Aberdesach

A man has been airlifted to hospital following a road traffic collision in Aberdesach this morning (Friday, 19th February).

At 07:41 police were informed by the Fire and Rescue Service of a two-vehicle collision – involving a Peugeot and an Audi, on the main road going through the village.

An ambulance was called the driver of the Peugeot was reported to be trapped.

He was freed by the Fire and Rescue Service and airlifted by the Air Ambulance to Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor with what is believed to be serious injuries.

Nobody else has been injured.

The road is currently closed and Highways have been requested to clear the road.
