Council to Engage with Usk Residents over Library and Community Education Proposals

MonmouthshireProposals to move Usk’s library and community education centre will be put to the town’s residents in a series of engagement sessions this month.

Responding to the challenge of operating as efficiently and effectively as possible the council is suggesting a move for the library and community education services to join the youth service in the current youth centre in Maryport Street to form a community hub.

Residents may complete an on-line questionnaire at www.monmouthshire.gov.uk/uskcommunityhub or access paper copies in both the library and community education buildings.

Public Consultation events will take place in the youth centre in Maryport Street on Wednesday 18th June from 3.30 to 7.30pm and Saturday 21st June from 10am to 1pm. All are welcome to attend and pass on comments to council officers about plans for a community hub.
