Monmouthshire County Council trading standards officers have alerted residents to the dangers of a new oversized cigarette lighter on sale in the area.
The lighters are comparable in style to normal size plastic disposable lighters but about four to five times larger. Similar lighters have been linked to a number of accidents elsewhere in the UK and have failed safety standards tests.
