Pupils from Flint Gwynedd CP, Cornist Park CP, Ysgol Croes Atti, St Mary’s RC and Ysgol Maes Edwin will be showcasing the drama they have devised as part of the Cultural Olympiad Celebrations in Flintshire.
Working with a professional script writer/director, Robin Goddard, these primary schools in Flint have been involved in creating a series of dramatic interpretations of parts of the Castle’s historic past. Visual artists Ben Davies and Judith Wood have been working with pupils to create a set with props and costumes.
The performances will take place on Thursday, 11 February at 6.30pm and 8.15pm and Clwyd Theatr Cymru.
Cauldrons & Furnaces has been co-ordinated by the Arts, Culture and Events section of Flintshire County Council and funded by the Cultural Olympiad in partnership with CADW.
