Commenting on a fall in the number of people unemployed in Wales, Shadow Minister for Business, Enterprise & Technology, Andrew RT Davies AM, said:
“This is another positive set of figures for Wales and the UK as a whole; both for those who have found employment and for the economy overall.
“While it is good news to see this downward trend continuing, we must not forget those who continue to be affected by loss of employment.
“Complacency must now be avoided in what remains a challenging environment.
“It is imperative that the Welsh Labour Government works with clarity and flexibility – both with business and the UK Government – to generate new jobs and get more people into work in Wales.”
