Speaking ahead of national ‘No Smoking Day’ on Wednesday, Shadow Health Minister, Andrew RT Davies said:
“It is vitally important that the messages about the dangers of smoking are reaching all smokers.
“Young people in particular do not seem to be taking heed of the warnings and it is essential that message is effectively communicated to them.
“We must encourage people across Wales to take advantage of the local community services that can assist them as they try to stop smoking.
“The Assembly Government must also bring forward effective plans to improve communication and access to smoking cessation services.”
