The 22 year old man from the Risca area who was arrested in connection with the death of 27 year old Ian Hamilton, found deceased at the side of Penmaen Road in the early hours of Sunday July 17, has now been charged with the following:
- Causing death by dangerous driving
- Fail to stop after a road accident
- Fail to report a road accident
- Driving with no insurance
- Driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence
He has been remanded in custody to appear before Caerphilly magistrates court today, Wednesday 3rd August.
The 18 year old female from the Risca area who was also arrested has been released no further action.
