A meeting of the Deeside Industrial Park Business Forum will now take place on Tuesday 20 September at Days Hotel, Sealand, from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm.
The main discussion point of Tuesday’s forum will be Enterprise Zones with the intention of presenting a bid to Welsh Government for a zone within the Deeside area.
The Forum is just one of the many ongoing initiatives under the Strategic Business Parks Project, which is a six year business support and development programme, funded in partnership between Flintshire County Council, Wrexham County Borough Council, and the Welsh Government.
The programme runs between June 2009 and March 2015 and covers business support and development activities at both Deeside Industrial Park and Wrexham Industrial Estate.
The Forum meetings are scheduled on a quarterly basis and this will be the eighth meeting since December 2009.
A well respected and proactive local entrepreneur, Askar Sheibani (Managing Director of Comtek Network Systems UK) has recently agreed to act as Chair of the Deeside Industrial Park Business Forum and is keen to promote Deeside Industrial Park, its businesses and its goods and services.
