Executive Member for Sport, Culture and Leisure, Cllr Nigel Howells, said: “I delighted that we are taking part in the Welsh Libraries Festival and I hope the event will encourage those who don’t normally use their local library to find out more.

“Libraries have changed, its no longer just about borrowing books, in Cardiff we regularly host a variety of events which you wouldn’t normally associate with your local library, including speed dating and pamper evenings. The festival gives us the opportunity to showcase what Cardiff libraries have to offer.”
