Directors Day – a day full of high level seminars and presentations – is just one of a number of themed days at this year’s Flintshire Business Week. It’s on Monday 17 October – and over 12 hours worth of events will be taking place at the Days Hotel, Chester North, from 7.45am until 8pm.
Experts in a variety of fields will be giving talks on subjects ranging from ‘Ignorance is not a defence’ (a breakfast seminar covering the legal issues that a company director may encounter), to ‘Survival of the fittest’, and ‘International Trade and finding new markets’ (a presentation highlighting the key challenges for UK business and how to adjust your business to maximise opportunities and achieve international success).
There will also be a seminar and lunch for the Institute of Directors, sponsored by BT.
Speakers will include: Graeme Leach from the Institute of Directors; Tom Sutcliffe from DTM Legal; Jean Ellis and Andrew Moss from DSG Accountants; David Houghton from Global Transaction Services RBS; and Karla Dooey from Hillyer McKeown. There will also be an opportunity during the day to put questions to the Council’s senior team.
