Draig’s Printing Division Celebrates First Anniversary Success

The printing arm of Caerphilly-based business services company Draig has notched up annual sales of £70,000 in its first year after being established during the height of the recession.

Printing.Com@Draig has already achieved a customer base of almost 200 clients in South and Mid Wales including Save The Children, The Institute of Welsh Affairs, Caerphilly Business Forum and  Cancer Research UK.

The print division bolts on to a busy website development and graphic design division, Draig Design.

Managing Director Ross Porter said: “Starting a business in the teeth of a recession is often very difficult. But I’m pleased at the success in the first year. Our aim is to double sales in year two and push them up to £300,000 by the end of the fourth year of operations.

“Despite the uncertain financial times in the UK we believe there is a strong market for our printing products which range from business cards to corporate folders. We also do promotional products ranging from pens to branded bottles of wine and even embroidered quality workwear.

“We have a skilled team of graphic designers and the latest in printing technology. Combine this with the availability of over 3,000 printed products, all at fixed prices which are up to 76 per cent cheaper than the industry average, and the wow factor for our customers is impressive.”

“Printing.Com@Draig was a natural addition for the Draig Business Services Group as many of our existing customers had told us that they were unhappy with the service and prices of their current print suppliers,” added Ross Porter.
