Parents in Conwy to have their say

You can now register online to join Conwy Parent Network. The Network is giving parents across Conwy the opportunity to have their say, to influence decisions that affect them and their families, and make positive changes to the services they use.

This opportunity is available to mothers, fathers, grandparents, foster parents/carers, step parents and adoptive parents.

When parents join the Parent Network they will be able to attend monthly meetings, or just sign up to receive up to date information about what is happening. Parents can contribute as much or as little as they want to with this option and all parents are welcome to join.

Mary Archer, from Conwy Children and Young People’s Partnership, said, “Conwy Parent Network is a golden opportunity to have a direct impact on Conwy’s services for children, young people and families. As a result, families can influence the services they need and know that improvements are part of the future for Conwy. We’re publicising this opportunity over the summer, and you can register online, or contact me for more information.”

The Parent Network project will be officially launched in October this year by Conwy Children and Young People’s Partnership.
