Ease your way into October with entertainment at the Norwegian Church

You’ll be assured of a warm waterfront welcome in October at this historic venue featuring comedy, markets, workshops and live music.

On Thursday October 8th Tin Shed Theatre kicks off the month in style by presenting a comedy evening. The show is a selection of short comedy scenarios involving various quirky and outrageous characters that are guaranteed to have you laughing out loud. Having previously performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2008 with great reviews, this show is certain to be an entertaining evening.

Bill Wheeler lines up another taster for those wishing to express a hidden flair through the watercolour medium, his ‘Watercolour Workshop’ on Sunday October 11th takes place in the ‘Norwegian Room’…then couldn’t quite make up your mind whether that special gift was ‘you’?

‘Joire de Vivre’ boutique “markets visit on the Sunday October 18th so treat yourself or indulge in some early Christmas shopping….their visits to the Church have become a particular draw for those eager to snap up unique and exclusive gifts.

Tuesday October 22nd sees the much awaited return of ‘Celtish’ to the Norwegian Church Stage. This dynamic band of individuals will not fail to deliver, wherever your tastes may lie. Such are their talents, that audiences are enthralled with the rich blend of emotive songs, and enigmatic tunes. Here is a group of passionate artists who clearly cherish their music, use their instruments to their fullest potential, and generously ‘give’ of themselves and their talents to their audience.
