Professions Group Wales host an election hustings event at Venue Cymru in Llandudno on Monday, April 19th (6.30pm).
It will give accountants, lawyers, surveyors and marketing professionals the opportunity to hear about the policies of the main political parties and how they relate to business in Wales. There will be an opportunity to put business-related questions to candidates and to ensure that they understand the needs of the professions.
The speakers confirmed are Elfyn Llwyd, Plaid Cymru; Bill Brereton, Liberal Democrat; Guto Bebb, Conservative and Donna Hutton, Labour.
Professions Group Wales, the all-Wales grouping of professional organisations, was set up in 2001 and includes representatives from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors Wales, the Law Society, accountancy body, ACCA and the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM).
The group was established so that the professions could work in partnership and establish stronger links with the National Assembly for Wales.
