Enjoy the snow while it lasts – but please leave Loggerheads and Moel Famau tidy

Hundreds of people have been enjoying the winter wonderland at Loggerheads and Moel Famau Country Park for the past couple of weeks but Denbighshire is asking people to have consideration for the residents who live in the vicinity as well as making sure they remove any rubbish before heading home.

Unfortunately, some residents have found access to their homes blocked by inconsiderate parking as well as difficulties on the roads because of the number of vehicles parked along the side of the roads leading to the parks.

In addition, the amount of rubbish left around the parks has increased over the last two weeks, caused by people leaving remains of sledges, bin bags and other items used for sledging across the parks.

Denbighshire’s
Director of Environment, Iwan Prys-Jones, said: “While we want people to enjoy themselves we would ask people to be considerate as to where they park, respect private land and do not trespass.

“We would also ask people to please make sure they take their belongings and any rubbish away with them when they leave.”
